Luxury Hotels in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, a city in Nevada, US, is known around the world as the foremost party and nightlife destination. This is the most popular destination for bachelor and bachelorette parties, for grad students to go backpacking through, and for people just looking for an extravagant escape from life. The city is home to several theme-based luxury hotels and casinos that stay open and buzzing throughout the day and night. When you’re in Las Vegas, you can’t possibly settle for anything less than sheer extravagance and opulence. Go through this list of the top 10 luxury hotels in Las Vegas and decide where you want to be!

# 1

Skylofts at MGM Grand

This is the most expensive and extravagant luxury five star hotel in all of Las Vegas. Situated atop the MGM Grand, this hotel is perched just right to be able to look down upon the spectacle of the Las Vegas Strip. It has been created purely for the pleasures of the elite, for those of discerning artistic and cultural tastes. The rooms are all designed in the stylings of New York lofts, and they offer wide and majestic views of the city around. Considering the ridiculously expensive rates, you would be right in expecting nothing short of perfection, and they definitely deliver on that. A private chauffeur driven limousine is sent to collect you from the airport itself, from which you’ll be driven to the MGM Grand private SKYLOFT entrance. Next, you’ll be taken to a private elevator which will then carry you straight to your suite. As such, you won’t have to waste your time with any unnecessary conversations or anything, and will be treated with luxury every step of the way from your arrival at the airport. The rooms also feature several great amenities, like a personal butler service, an infinity spa tub, an espresso machine, and a heated towel rack. You can even ask for apartments that are equipped with a fully functioning kitchen or a private plunge pool. Using the universal remote control, you can regulate the rooms temperature and its lighting as well.

# 2

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

The Four Seasons Hotel is the hotel you need to go to if you want a sense of comfort and intimacy even within the buzzing throes of Las Vegas. The hotel features a private entrance from Las Vegas Boulevard, and even though it’s located on the Las Vegas strip it’s still quite removed from all of its noise and distractions. The hotel also features several great restaurants wherein the guests can dine in luxury and style. Charlie Palmer's steakhouse is the prime location for some steaks and ribs. If you want to experience an eclectic menu of handcrafted cocktails, you can head on over to PRESS, or you can go to Verada for some Italian cuisine. Besides the restaurants, the hotel also features luxurious spas and private pools to rejuvenate your senses. The rooms feature glass walls through which you can view the bright lights and neon signs of the Strip. In addition to that, they have been designed in an Art Deco style, but with modern contemporary amenities such as Smart LED TVs, surround sound systems, and a minimalist ethos. This is also an adored hotel amongst families with kids because they offer kid menus as well in restaurants, and they have welcome gifts for kids upon arrival.

# 3

Wynn Las Vegas

Wynn Las Vegas has won several Five Star awards from the Forbes Travel Guide, and the entire hotel is home to a whopping 4750 guest rooms! The rooms are all uniformly elegant and have advanced technological amenities and panoramic views of the city. One of the reasons that this luxury hotel is so popular and famous is the fact that it can act as a microcosm of Las Vegas as a whole. It features 20 restaurants serving different cuisines to different kinds of clientele, it also features a decadent extravaganza fest in the form of its various night-clubs and bars, and if you want to go around shopping you don’t even have to set foot out of the hotel as it features a stunning shopping complex!

# 4

Encore at Wynn Las Vegas

Encore at Wynn Las Vegas shares features and amenities with Wynn Las Vegas mentioned earlier. The casino featured in the luxury hotel is considered to be one of its most stylish in all of Las Vegas, which is really saying something. The aesthetic sensibilities of the hotel is a fusion of Mediterranean and Asian influences. The rooms are perhaps a bit simple, however they all feature floor-to-ceiling windows from which to look out upon the city.

# 5

Bellagio Las Vegas

This is a truly decadent and opulent luxury five star hotel. It’s located in a prime location on the Strip, however it has enough buffeting in place to ensure that the guests aren’t disturbed by all the accompanying noise of the Strip. As you approach the hotel you’re immediately greeted with a thousand fountains dancing to the tunes of popular music, with an accompanying display of lights and colors. The interiors of the hotel are relatively more subdued, designed in a regal European style, with the presence of award-winning restaurants and contemporary art installations by some of the world’s foremost artists. The Bellagio also features a conservatory with lush exotic flowers and trees, and glass ceilings so that the guests can feel bathed in sunlight. As such, the Bellagio actually has a lot going for it even besides the casino for which it is so famous. You might have seen it featured in a lot of popular Hollywood flicks, and you’d be forgiven for being under the impression that it’s all show and no style. However, it’s actually quite a classy and artistic place to be in. The entire hotel features 3933 rooms and suites, which is an incredibly large number of rooms by anyone’s standards, however they’re designed in such a manner so as to remain intimate, and remain buffeted from the vast sprawling public spaces.

# 6

ARIA Resort & Casino at CityCenter Las Vegas

ARIA Resort & Casino is an extremely popular luxury five star hotel in Las Vegas, and one of its greatest features and attractions is the fact that you get perfect unhindered sight of the Strip from most of the rooms. The rooms are incredibly high-tech with the ready availability of consoles and controls with which to regulate the temperature or the lighting of the room. It’s a hit amongst travelers for its prime location and the many other amenities it offers, such as the spa, beauty salon, and the featured restaurants and swimming pools.

# 7

Mandarin Oriental at CityCenter Las Vegas

Located on the very heart of the Las Vegas Strip, this is the only luxury hotel in Las Vegas that has won triple five stars from Forbes. The Mandarin Oriental is a 47 Storey high building and towers well over the Las Vegas skyline, giving you a breathtaking and dizzying view of the frenzy of the city below, and the surrounding desert land. In keeping with the brand, the hotel features subtle Asian-inspired decor, though it doesn’t go overboard with that. In addition to that, the rooms and bathrooms all feature floor-to-ceiling windows.

# 8

Palazzo Resort Hotel Las Vegas

The Palazzo Resort is yet another well-situated five star hotel, on the northernmost part of the Strip. The location is really fortunate as it’s a close neighbor to The Venetian, which is another popular five star hotel in Las Vegas. It’s incredibly sleek, modern, and uses a vibrant color palette. The suites are all incredibly spacious and feature slightly depressed living rooms. The bathtubs are incredibly deep and spacious, so much so that you can very well sink into them. The Canyon Ranch SpaClub is also another hit with its long and detailed menu of a vast variety of massages offered in styles inspired from across the globe. The Venetian next-door is replete with some great dining options. and you can head on over there to feast on cuisines from all over the world.

# 9

Nobu Hotel

The Nobu Hotel, present in Caesars Palace is a five star boutique hotel that is often frequented by celebrities. The Nobu hotel isn’t quite as decadent as all other hotels in Las Vegas, and it also quite stands out from the crowd because of its Japanese-inspired aesthetic leanings. The artworks are all uniformly stunning, and the general ambience of the hotel is calm and peaceful with gold-accented furnishings, a far cry from the throbbing pulse of the city at large. This can act as a welcome respite from some of the heady and dizzying pleasures of the city. The rooms are all designed with an eye for details — all the rooms feature Italian bedsheets, and the feng shui in the rooms has been carefully managed by the designers. In addition to that, all the rooms also feature their very own Japanese artwork, and the general color palette of the rooms is golden-purple. This might sound like a strange combination but the Nobu hotel pulls it off expertly. Another great feature of this hotel is that if you’re staying in it, you’re automatically given VIP standing in both the Omnia nightclub, and the Nobu restaurant. As such, your reservations will be treated with priority, ensuring that a seat is waiting for you when you get to the restaurant. This can be quite helpful because most good fine-dining places in Vegas will require reservations made in advance.

# 10

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan is one of the oldest luxury five star hotels in Las Vegas, located on the Strip, and very close to Bellagio, the famous casino. The City Center complex is also a quick walk away. This luxury hotel features some astonishingly large residential living spaces, and the rooms have their own private terraces with a grand view of the Las Vegas skyline. The rooms feel bright and contemporary because of the preferred color palette of blues and whites. The bathrooms are all marbled, with separate seating areas also available. The open air pool features a wide panoramic view of the city around, and the hotel’s aesthetic is stylish and sleek. The hotel also features a 100,000 square foot casino, and a nightclub, in typical Las Vegas fashion. If you stay in this hotel, then you must also stop by at Spoon brunch buffet, which is a favorite amongst guests of all backgrounds. If you’re looking for more of a fine-dining experience, then you have restaurants by famous chefs such as David Chang and José Andrés. If you’re looking for trendy bars to go for cocktails, then Chandelier Bar is highly recommended with its vast glittering curtains. If you care for some great DJs and dancing, then head on over to Bond Bar.

# 11

The Cromwell

Like most trendy and fashionable hotels in Las Vegas, this luxury hotel is also located on the Strip, the prime location in Vegas. One of the reasons it is so well know is because it’s quite small in size in comparison to the other five star hotels in the vicinity. However, this small appearance and size only adds to the hotel’s rather off-kilter sense of style. The hotel features a beach-themed rooftop pool which is a great source of parties that rage on every night of the week, every day of the year. They also have well equipped casinos, which is really a necessity in any Las Vegas hotel. However, they only have one restaurant on-site, and that’s GIADA, serving Italian cuisine.

# 12

The Signature at MGM

The Signature is one of the few luxury hotels which isn’t exactly located on the Strip. It’s a few blocks off of it. This can again be both an advantage and a drawback for the hotel, depending on personal perspectives. It puts you within walking distance of the Strip and offers relative peace, however it won’t appeal to you if you abhor walking of any kind. However, this is sure to appeal to you if you want relatively less expensive rooms (I dare not call any of these Las Vegas luxury hotels ‘cheap’) and if you want your rooms to be equipped with kitchens and balconies. However, you should know that even though this seems and looks like a hotel, the rooms are all treated like Condos, subject to rental laws.

# 13

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa

This luxury hotel is extremely isolated, and far from the throng of the Strip. It will take you about a thirty minute taxi ride to go to the strip. As such, it’s also far from some of the other prime attractions of the city. However, this is quite popular with an older demographic, those who still want to thrive in luxury and gamble, but do so in locations that aren’t as buzzing and loud. Accordingly, the resort has a decidedly calm and casual aesthetic, which is further accentuated by the warm amber hues of the light fixtures and the dark wood paneling.

# 14

Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino

The Mandalay Bay Resort is a luxury hotel located on the southern end of the Strip. As such, it’s well located to enjoy the sights of the strip, while still maintaining relative distance from its excesses. This is also a strategic move to make it a more kid-friendly location, without going all mellow. A monorail system is available within the vicinity of the hotel that is linked to all other casinos on the Strip, and as such commuting is really easy. Some of the pools have been designed to replicate beaches, with plenty of sand and cabanas. This is yet another great place for kids to hang around. However, if you don't have kids yourself, you might just get annoyed by this, as many guests have.

# 15

The Mirage Hotel & Casino

The Mirage Hotel is definitely the most unique hotel in all of Vegas, and its design speaks volumes for its sheer ambition. The hotel features giant man-made waterfalls, lush rainforests, lagoons, and even volcanoes! All of this has been made to replicate some of the most adventurous sights in the wild. However, the labyrinthine maze of features and amenities makes it quite exhausting, and not at all suited for just a relaxing vacation. However, kids love it, especially the dolphin habitat. The hotel also features a separate discreet adults-only topless pool, if that's more your thing.
